The Egyptian security forces have eliminated 21 terrorists in North Sinai, northeast of Egypt, who were planning attacks during Eid al-Fitr.
The Egyptian Ministry of Interior said in a statement today that "information was available to the national security sector stating that a group of terrorist elements had holed up in Wakrin, a farm in North Sinai, and were planning to carry out terrorist operations in conjunction with Eid al-Fitr."
The Ministry indicated that the Cochrane was targeted and engaged with the terrorists, killing 21 of them and wounding two officers from the security forces, while the terrorists found automatic weapons, devices, explosive belts, and radios.
And spread in the Sinai groups of the organizations of the Muslim Brotherhood and (ISIS) terrorists and the Egyptian forces are chasing those groups, where during the past years hundreds of its members have been eliminated.
