A Ségur de la santé initiates concerted action as of May 25, notably on the public hospital. Following our column entitled “Let’s free the hospital from the bureaucratic scourge!”, Published in Le Figaro on May 4, we are proposing the political basis for a profound reform of our health system. The public hospital, a training crucible for all healthcare players in the country and the main initiator of medical progress, will regain its attractiveness there.
An administrative simplification shock is imperative. At the national and regional level, public health authorities must be brought together, their roles and missions must be reconsidered, and the principle of subsidiarity must be favored in favor of territories and establishments.
