Showers are affecting western Guangdong; meanwhile, a trough of low pressure has formed in northern southern China and brought unstable weather to the area.
Weather: Hong Kong is generally cloudy today with a few showers, thunderstorms in some areas in the morning, and a short period of sunshine in the afternoon. The temperature ranges from 26 to 30 degrees, blowing gently south to southeast winds.
The Observatory's outlook: There will be showers and thunderstorms tomorrow; the weather will improve slightly in the middle of the week.
