1127 corona virus deaths within 24 hours in the United States

The United States has recorded 1127 new deaths from the Coronavirus over the past 24 hours, taking the total to 97048.

According to Johns Hopkins University, which is a reference to track the number of deaths and injuries, 162,168 cases of the virus have been officially registered, the highest in the world.

In New York, the US state most affected by the Corona virus, the daily death toll has fallen to 84, the lowest since March 24.

Despite the high numbers, the 50 US states started to lift the isolation measures partially and gradually, while maintaining some restrictions on gatherings in order to reduce the spread of the virus.
