Assuta Hospital reported yesterday that doctors saved the life of an eight-month-old baby who was attacked by a violent bacterium called "meningococcus." According to the hospital, the baby was rushed to him several days ago, suffering from high fever, restlessness and rash.
An examination of him in the ER and the ward found he was suffering from the "meningococcus" bacterium. The baby was rushed to pediatric intensive care and began receiving antibiotic therapy and is now in stable condition.
