In the past, the duelists liked to travel far away. For example, Tim Mälzer tried fried seafood in Lima, Peru, while Koch Christian Bau gave a peanut soup in Accra (Ghana).

Due to the worldwide consequences of the corona pandemic *, it  is simply no longer possible to travel to these countries, which are sometimes heavily affected by Covid-19, which is why Tim Mälzer and VOX are now reacting - and throwing the classic concept of the show overboard.

As a sign of solidarity and, of course, to protect the health of everyone involved in the shoot, we have therefore decided to have the duels of the next season largely in Germany and in German-speaking countries. "

It is still unclear when it can continue. In the current situation, "Kitchen Impossible" is in a shooting stop, but "due to the easing that has already come into force and is promised, we assume that we can start shooting again in the next few weeks and look forward to many new, exciting duels between Tim Mälzer and his challenges. We will announce in good time who that is and where exactly it will take place. ”
