Covid-19: France has 1,655 patients in intensive care, ten fewer than on Saturday

The decline in the number of patients in France seriously affected by the coronavirus and hospitalized in intensive care continued on Sunday, reaching 1,655 patients, or 10 fewer in 24 hours, said the Directorate General of Health in a statement.

The total number of patients in intensive care (all causes combined), which notably reflects the pressure on the hospital system, "remains high" with 5,600 patients, a number equal to that of the previous day. Regarding mortality, the next update of the data collected by Santé Publique France will take place on Monday, due to the Ascension Bridge.
