Update, May 22, 2:25 p.m .: bild.de is now enthusiastic about the topic and sends a reporter into the forest. From there there is a live activation via video.

Hannes Kohlmaier cannot report much new. Except for what is already known: a forester's dog pulled a monkey hand and a monkey foot from the same forest. The body parts may have been frozen (see our first report of May 19 below). It must have been a larger animal, maybe a chimpanzee. The exact type of monkey is still being determined from the pieces.

According to Kohler, a “monkey friend” used to live at Gafrath. But he was more interested in smaller animals. Furthermore, the forest is easily accessible from the highway. The assumption that someone wanted to get rid of the pieces in the forest is not so far-fetched.
