Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (Sunday) addressed the trial that began today with his cases and indictments filed against him for bribery, fraud and breach of trust. In an interview given to journalist Boaz Golan on Channel 20, Netanyahu denied the option of signing a plea bargain, saying: "In no way will I agree to a plea bargain. We are not here to do business but to get the truth out."

Netanyahu also referred to the indictment, saying: "The last election is a terrible expression of disbelief in who stitched my cases. I can't beat me in the elections then do something else. Think the indictment is the death blow, but the civilians are smarter and gave us more votes. time". 

Regarding the first hearing in his case today, he said: "I felt I was in one of the just struggles of the Jewish people. A bunch of police officers, lawyers and journalists from the left stitched a file for me." You also referred to the broadcast of the "source" program in News 13 which dealt with indictments, saying: "What Raviv Drucker did is disrupting legal proceedings and a threat to witnesses. What is the IS going to do against Drucker?"  

The first hearing in Ra's trial from Netanyahu began today at 3 pm in the Jerusalem District Court. Before the hearing, many MKs from the Likud arrived at the court and stood by Netanyahu while making a special statement before entering the courtroom. Among those present were Minister Miri Regev, Minister Yoav Galant, Minister Amir Ohana, MK Tzahi Hanegbi and MK Nir Barkat. 

In the special statement, Netanyahu said: "The media representatives want to photograph me as part of the 'Just not Bibi' campaign, I want the public to see the whole picture and to tell the whole truth. The public needs to hear everything and not through the prosecutor's court papers, so my first request from the court is to allow Broadcasting my life throughout the trial. "

Netanyahu further read: "Immediately publish the document sent by the Justice Department to the State Comptroller. I demand to publish the transcripts of the investigations used by delinquent measures with the aim of ousting witnesses who will incriminate me with false testimony."
