Online presentation: click into the Holzkirchner sports development plan

The sports development plan for Holzkirchen is progressing: the results of the inventory and needs analysis are now being presented to the citizens - in an online presentation.

Holzkirchen - At the beginning of the year, the Holzkirchen market conducted a survey of its citizens, sports clubs, schools and daycare centers on the wishes and needs of the range of sports on offer. Now the results are presented, which serve as a station on the way to the municipality's sports development plan - not because of Corona at a physical meeting, but online via zoom conference. All citizens are invited to do so on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at 7 p.m.

For the survey, the market community had sent a representative survey to more than 4,000 citizens aged between ten and 80 years. The - very good - response rate of 30 percent shows how important the topic of sport and sports activities is for the Holzkirchners, the market community reports. Stefan Eckl from the Institute for Cooperative Planning and Sport Development (IKPS) is now presenting the detailed results in the online presentation.

“With the IKPS office, we are taking this path for the first time to inform citizens live and online. I'm looking forward to the coming Wednesday, ”said Mayor Christoph Schmid. He wishes that this "form of citizen participation in Holzkirchen has a future".

Based on the findings of the survey, a citizens' workshop was originally supposed to take place, to which the round table sports facilities with representatives of sports clubs, schools, local council and administration as well as interested citizens were invited. Due to the corona situation, this community workshop is now being replaced by the online presentation. A planning workshop is to take place in the summer, taking into account the further Corona developments. 

This is how the online presentation works

The presentation will start on Wednesday at 7 p.m. on http://holzkirchen.sportentwicklungsplanung.de and will be carried out via the online conference platform Zoom. Under the link, citizens can join as viewers. Questions can be asked at any time using the chat function. The community wants to publish technical information for the use of Zoom on the homepage of the market town in the course of Wednesday.
