Anna Popova, head of Russia’s Health Supervision and Protection Authority, announced that her country has managed, through the steps it has taken, to avoid stressing the health care system while tackling the emerging coronavirus.
"The increase in new cases in a gradual slowdown and the quarantine measures imposed by the authorities have given the necessary result," Popova quoted Popova as saying today.
At the same time, she stressed the need to be careful when loosening restrictions and gradually implement this.
Popova pointed out that no deaths have been recorded so far among the patients of Covid 19 who are treated in their homes under the supervision of doctors.
It is noteworthy that Russia has recorded 336 thousand infections and 3,500 deaths from the Corona virus since the beginning of the new Corona virus spread throughout the country, while about 108 thousand people have recovered from the virus.
