Update from May 24, 2020, 9:00 p.m .: Christian Lindner has polarized several times in the corona crisis - now the FDP chief has apparently started to roll in his assessment of the unexpectedly drastic corona easing plans in Thuringia .

In a tweet that had since been deleted - but apparently previously saved by CSU General Secretary Markus Blume - Lindner had taken a clear position late Saturday evening: "The MP Ramelow is correct!", He explained. A position that Blume called "irritating". The Bavarian government had previously acknowledged the Thuringian plans with “horror”. Blume once again called her "irresponsible".
