Fight unemployment which explodes with the coronavirus crisis by encouraging job seekers to train in jobs that recruit. This is one of the key axes of the 1.3 billion euro recovery plan for the Île-de-France region for 2020, presented on Thursday. Financed by 689 million euros of redeployment of appropriations which were not spent due to the confinement and 592 million euros of additional money, it will be voted by the regional council on June 11.
"We expect a wave of bankruptcies but also a wave of layoffs , " warned regional president Valérie Pécresse at a press conference. The region has thus decided to allocate 230 million euros to the fight against unemployment and training.
