The United Arab Industrial Company "Debs" has launched the pilot phase of the high-quality jeans fabric production line.
The general manager of the company, Eng. Hussam Al-Shallah, described in a statement to the delegate of Sana the results of this experiment with good and good news, especially that the appropriate "tiger" of yarns was chosen to produce this type of fabric through six looms as a first stage, provided that the production be increased according to demand, as it is expected that there will be The demand for this type of fabric by factories due to the scarcity of its production in Syria, pointing out that all stages of production, including preparing and selecting yarns, weaving and dyeing fabrics take place in the company.
Al-Shallah said that during the first four months of the current year, the company “Debs” produced 4.904 million linear meters of various types of fabrics, while it sold 1.063 million meters at a value of 812 million Syrian pounds, within the implementation of the production and marketing plan of the company to secure the needs of public and private entities of fabrics according to those in charge of them .
Al-Shallah explained that the company’s stocks at the beginning of the year amounted to 6.843 million meters of fabrics at a value of 3.878 billion pounds. These stores increased by the end of last month to 7.090 million meters with a value of 4.030 billion pounds, indicating that the total production and stores are marketed by virtue of the contracts that the company is associated with the public authorities and that will be marketed Consecutively.
The general manager of the company pointed out the difficulties experienced by the company, "productive, marketing and financial", as it suffers from a lack of employment on production lines and needs to obtain a functional staff to facilitate the recruitment process in it, pointing to the need to secure expert cadres of the company from chemists and technicians in the field of microelectronics and to address the situation of separated workers to Spinning companies and re-obligating graduates of the Intermediate Institute of Textile Industries to government companies.
Al-Shallah suggested renewing the yarn section, which saves yarn from all the tiger and reflects positively on reducing costs and improving the quality and compensation for the company due to the damage caused by terrorist attacks and solving financial tangles between them and other public bodies, qualifying and training the marketing staff, supporting textile exports and seeking to amend laws and regulations that hinder To work in order to achieve the highest possible economic rent.
