A replacement had to be sworn in at the FDP in the first working session of the district council. That was not without criticism.

Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen - The fact that in the first working session of a newly elected district council one ought to be sworn in directly is probably not something that happens very often. Exactly this point was on the agenda at the meeting in the Loisachhalle in Wolfratshausen on Monday. FDP district councilor Lorenz Terwey had left office on the day of the inaugural meeting in early May. In fact, Geretsrieder had previously announced that he would not take up the office. Because he had not done so in the time limit set for the local election, he had to be sworn in.

The first successor to the FDP does not want the office either

Günther Fuhrmann, who had represented the FDP in the district council in recent years, would have been the first to move up the list. But he didn't want the mandate either. The second replacement, Edmund Häner from Geretsried, was sworn in on Monday.

It was not completely silent. The district council must agree to the whole. And before the decision, CSU parliamentary group leader Martin Bachhuber had a few comments. "I would like to express my surprise for the CSU," said the Heilbrunner. Before the election, all the candidates asked for the trust of the voters, distributed nice advertising material, "and eight days after the election it said: It was all more or less fun," Bachhuber said.

CSU parliamentary group leader: "I do not have to explain this to the FDP voters"

The first elected representative of the FDP does not want the mandate, neither does the second, so now the third comes to the train. "I don't have to explain that to the FDP voters. But maybe you should have dealt with what it means to apply for a mandate beforehand. ”He found that strange. "And I will not agree to this." Some district councils - from the CSU, but also from other groups - saw the same. At 16:45, however, they remained in the minority.

"I can warmly welcome you," said District Administrator Josef Niedermaier when he was sworn in to Edmund Häner. The FDP district council belongs to the five-member committee community with the ÖDP, the Bavarian party and the independent voters.
