The funny war started on May 5, not far from the lake of Pangong Tso, in the northwest of India. According to the Indian press, a military patrol was disputed with Chinese soldiers near the line of control which demarcates the two countries. The quarrel turns into pugilat. Punches, stone throws, stolen iron bars and studded sticks are exchanged during a war-like battle of the buttons, which would have opposed 250 soldiers according to the press agency Trust Of India. Indian troops criticize their adversary for patrolling their territory for several weeks.
More than three weeks after the collision, the recriminations continue. India accuses the Chinese army of having installed tents and dug trenches on its soil.
