Massachusetts - 103-year-old Jennie Stejna was infected with the coronavirus about three weeks ago and subsequently developed Covid-19 lung disease, USA Today reported. She had a slight fever and was transferred to a separate ward. Stejna didn't really understand or understand Covid-19, but knew that she was very sick, USA Today quotes her granddaughter Shelley Gunn.

Gunn thanked her grandmother for everything she had done for her. When Shelley's husband asked Adam Gunn if Stejna was ready for heaven, she said, "Damn it, yes!"

"Our lively, old, Polish grandmother officially defeated the  corona virus, " said Adam Gunn. "We are really grateful." Stejna was the first resident of the nursing home to recover. There are 33 more cases, said Gunn. To celebrate her recovery , Stejna received an ice-cold bud light from the nursing home staff  - because she liked the beer very much and had not drunk for a long time.

Jennie Stejna has lived her entire life in Massachusetts , USA. She spent 54 years with her husband Teddy, who died in 1995 at the age of 82. As USA Today reported, Stejna was an avid bingo player who loved reading and crocheting. Due to arthritis, she had to give up her hobby. Gunn had his number of blankets that her grandmother in manual labor has made so granddaughter Shelley Gun. 

In addition, the 103-year-old is a die-hard baseball fan . "She always sat outside and listened to the Red Sox on the radio," says Gunn. In addition to her, Stejna has two other grandchildren , four great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and two own children.
