The death of a African American man in Minnesota by a police officer sparked a wave of violent protests

Thursday night, protests continued throughout the United States following the death of George Floyd during a police arrest in Minneapolis, which protesters confronted police officers outside the police station and looted nearby stores. At the same time, reports began of the death of one of the protesters shot by shop owners following a robbery attempt during the violent demonstrations.

At the same time, support demonstrations were also being held in Los Angeles, California. Hundreds of people blocked the freeway at the entrance to the city and sprayed windows of police cars parked in the streets.

As the protest spread, the Minneapolis local police chief called Madria Ardono to calm the spirits. At a press conference, he said, "The investigation into Floyd's death continues to coincide with the FBI's investigation into the incident." The violent incidents we saw tonight, which included looting and property damage, will not lead to the arrival of the truth any quicker.

Minneapolis police spokesman John Adler said police officers are making every effort in conjunction with the U.S. National Guard to control the stormy winds. At the same time, protests took place at the home of the suspect who was suspected of the murder and outside the home of Nippon County Prosecutor Mike Friedman.

The involved trooper, who was documented choking Floyd during police custody, was fired as early as Tuesday along with 3 other police officers suspected of being involved in the incident. Yesterday, Mayor Jacob Fry called for them to be tried as quickly as possible.

Fry continues his efforts to stop the protests that have become violent, tweeting in his Twitter account: "Please Minneapolis, we can't let this tragedy get even hotter. We ask for your help in keeping yourself and the quiet." State Governor Tim Wells also urged residents to return to their homes and let the rescue forces do their jobs.

Please, Minneapolis, we can't let tragedy beget more tragedy.

Along with the agitated reactions of many social activists and celebrities, US President Donald Trump also responded to Floyd's documentary, tweeting: "My heart goes out to George's family and friends, justice will come."

.... I have asked for this investigation to be expedited and greatly appreciate all the work done by local law enforcement. My heart goes out to George's family and friends. Justice will be served!

Also Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, who was involved in a racist incident last week during a morning show interview and wrote in his Twitter account: "Floyd's death is a tragic reminder that this is not a passing event but as part of a systemic cycle full of injustice that still exists in our country."
