For a week, the climate protection alliance "Germering for Future" (GFF) has called for a special Ramadama. The campaign # collect all should help to clear forests and fields of garbage even in times of contact restrictions.
Germering - The initiators concluded that this was necessary from the fact that since the beginning of the Corona crisis, far more people have been looking for relaxation in the surrounding area than before.
The result of the action confirms this. As GFF representative Stephanie Pockrandt-Gauderer reports, fewer volunteers took part than hoped. But the yield was still terrifying. Above all, she was astonished by the fact that not only the usual trash from the day trippers was found and collected. In the forest and in the fields, the Ramadama activists also found refrigerators, car tires and rusting parts of agricultural equipment.
Employees of the Cordobar youth center and the adventure playground, who jointly took part in the campaign, quickly filled several large garbage bags in the woods on Parsberg with a total of around 20 kilograms of waste. What annoyed her the most was the fact that there were tons of cigarette butts in one place. Collecting the garbage was not enough for the participants. Because the municipal building yard could not accept the waste, the helpers had to dispose of the waste in their private bins. kg
