The couple got to know each other over 60 years ago in Frankfurt. Back then, Hansjoachim Reder, from Bad Kissingen, was a Daimler employee and moved to the main metropolis, the home of his future wife. The wedding also took place in Hessen. But as early as 1973 the couple landed again in Germering for work reasons - Hansjoachim Reder had been transferred to Munich - where they still live and have become at home.
Hansjoachim Reder is known to many as honorary president of SC Unterpfaffenhofen. He presided over the club to which he had joined Judoka for 25 years, first as vice and then as president. He retired ten years ago - at the time, he was already 73 years old and had to take care of his sick wife. 80-year-old Christel Reder used to work for the social service. kg
