Jean-Luc martinez: "We expect 30% attendance"

INTERVIEW - The Louvre should reopen its doors on July 6, changing the visiting conditions. Exclusive interview with its president and director.


It is the museum of all superlatives, with its 10 million annual visitors and its 73,000 square meters devoted to exhibition halls, and its 220O agents. Jean-Luc MARTINEZ .- We normally have around 75% of foreign visitors. They mainly come from distant countries, such as the United States, China, Korea or Brazil. They will not be there. We therefore expect a drop in attendance of 60 to 80%, knowing that many
