Dachau - The Dachau fire department had to rescue a man from a predicament on Monday evening. The traveler had to go to the toilet shortly before 6 p.m., which is why he paid 50 cents and went to the toilet in the station building. When, a little later, he was relieved to leave the toilet and go outside through the counter hall, it was locked - the clock closed at 6 p.m.
Imprisoned man dialed the emergency call
The man dialed the emergency call, whereupon the fire brigade first tried to reach a responsible person on the train. When this failed, the comrades found a smart solution: a slim, sporty firefighter climbed a ladder up to a small window above the toilet cubicle, squeezed through and shimmy down. Then he opened the toilet door from the inside, took the - fortunately equally sporty - man from the counter and helped each other to get free again upside down through the small toilet window.
