"We build and destroy all the time"

Jasmine Moalem, 25, from Tel Aviv-Yafo

First album: "Aryeh"

"I have nothing but I have everything

there is no chance, but no chance not" ("I have no place")

My music: "She talks about my life very directly, and because we're all so different but also so similar, I hope she basically tells about the life of us all (laughs). These are songs of empowerment, my self-healing songs versus myself, when I do Music is perfectly clear to me, but it's hard to explain later, to define it as a genre or content? Most I like soul songs on bits. "

Creation in the days of Corona : "It was a very challenging time. I felt shackled and my plans change without asking, but it's an amazing lesson. Looking back (thankfully) it was a super-fertile period and I wrote quite a few new songs. The album came out before everything happened, but the performance The launch was supposed to be just at the height of isolation - and was rejected - what I was going through was just like the 12 stages of grief, and by the time I got to the stage of acceptance there was a lot of disconnection from the world, your doing, and a great deal of disconnection from yourself. Stopable: No Flights, No Shopping and Frenzy - When it happens you have to sit and enjoy the show. There was a sense that we were a significant moment in history, and we also set a new date for the launch: August 11 at Barbie's Tel Aviv.

A new world or whatever it may be: "At first I was sure it was, it was over. I had already seen the apocalypse, the zombies are coming, everything is crashing. But to my surprise, the power of life is stronger than anything and human nature continues as it is." Consume as much as possible, build as much as possible, utilize as much as possible. But that's how we are - building and destroying at the same time all the time. "

"Without a politically correct filter"

Orit Chuma, 30, from Rehovot,

debut album: "Abundance in Poverty"

"Two bunk beds in one room,

I sang in the same room with a Mido comb in my hand,

even when I cut off my cables in childhood,

I always found the abundance low"

("The abundance low")

My music: "Rap with poetry that combines Ethiopian and electronic and neo-sol music. The texts are my truth, these are songs about the experiences I have experienced, and those who hear will understand my world from the perspective of an Israeli filmmaker who is also a member of the Ethiopian community, and maybe dance a bit."

Coruna: "When the album came out, I didn't believe they would play, but I loved the radio very much. I did launch shows, and I was suddenly closed full of shows. I even debated whether to quit my job because I felt everything was happening! At the hostel they suggested I stay a little longer, so I told myself, Life is not black and white, they are red-yellow-green, and luckily I stayed because all the shows were canceled in one day. It was very heart-wrenching because I wanted to keep in good contact with the audience and it was cut in the middle, and I had to rebuild it. On a personal level, I also had difficulty writing "I was in the market for this certainty, but after two or three weeks I went back to writing intensely. What makes us feel human is art, the feeling that we are not going through this thing alone. Art gives a personal perspective that allows you to be vulnerable without a politically correct filter that tells you ' That's how it should go. "

A new world or whatever it may be: "I have a feeling that we will do many things after a second thought, that we understand that if things are already done then do them to the end and be more present in the world. I want to devour all the stages in the country. "In Beersheba on July 13, and July 22 at All Alma in Tel Aviv. I had an intervention with my brother that there will be a lot of rock bands after the Corona, because people will want to vent the frustration from this weird era."

"We'll get away with it when art returns to be meaningful"

Itzik Bombati, 35 from Rehovot, is currently living in New York,

a debut album: "Songs"

"You will teach us how to dream and that we may dream

and that we should try" ("What is your dream")

My music: "Fun, positive and joyful with a lot of groove. Humor, like music, is an important part of my life, and I use it both. The purpose of my music and performances is to create an experience that connects people."

Creation in the days of Corona: "The album was due out just when it all started. I was supposed to be touring Israel, and then suddenly boom, nothing.

"After a short period of confusion, I started doing biotechs, for a reason where I picked up music I love. I tried to take the opportunity to connect with people closely even though nothing resembles a real show, where the music happens, where this connection between people.

"In the end I came to the conclusion that the album was already ready, and I didn't want it to stay on the shelf and wait for some other time in the future for it to come out, because an album is a picture, a chapter in your life, and if you wait too much, the picture changes, it's already different. And it is precisely the decision to release the album New creativity has opened for me, and the launch will take place on October 28 at the Barbie Tel Aviv.

A new world or whatever it was: "Big, now the whole world knows that zoom can be used and I still think it's going to be the same again. Hopefully there will be a rejuvenation between artist and audience, but it's hard to say if people won't be afraid of the encounter.

" That we really came out of it when art came back to be a significant thing in people's lives. "

"The album makes more sense to me during the Corona period"

Costa Kaplan, 31, from Tel Aviv. Former solo

artist Haya Miller's debut album: "Costa Kaplan"

"Cherry Arison built the school for me

but she didn't give me the code for the safe and

when I can climb the fence

the good deeds will be over" ("An empty car stopped")

My music: "The new album is like a gift with a lot of covers. We, along with the producer and the band, are full of things to enjoy inside. We wanted it to feel that every time you hear the album you download a different cover and get something new. We'll be launching the album on July 20 at Barbie.

"In my opinion when people listen to music they know something is being done to make them feel a certain way and so it usually can't be touched. That's why music that is a bit challenging is also more honest in my opinion. We tried to do something that at first hearing might sound a little rough and aggressive but there is It has a lot more to go, from all corners of the music world. From electronic to classical folk. "

Creation in the days of Corona: "The Corona caught me at an interesting time. I've been waiting for this album for a long time. Was there a release date, March 20 - you get it? We coordinated launch and tour performances. We didn't really know what to expect, so we put out the album and the reactions were really good, it turns out there is something good about being free to music, and I listened to a lot of the music during this time and not the background noise that jiggles around like commercials (laughs).

"I feel it was right for my album to come out in a time of epidemic that happens once a century, it's the atmosphere to hear the album. It's a very strange reality today, one of the strangest things. And the album makes a lot of sense to me in that kind of reality. The album and dancing with it, there is something powerful about it, it is an era of intense music because it is an intense experience. On the personal level, the corona blended in quite naturally with what I do. I really enjoyed this quiet, it is a very rare thing in my life, I felt very natural in this thing, it is Made me get a haircut. "

get a haircut?

"Getting better! It was important to learn that it didn't always have to be very productive, I went on with my normal life, I loved reading books and looking at the street. It was very creative for me."

A new world or whatever it would be: "Everything will be the same, unequivocally. What amazes me about this was not a collective experience as promised. They said there would be no more boundaries, that we would make homelessness in the corner because it was a shared risk, but it came out the most. There is some serious capitalist dimension that we are not talking about, this unifying experience was the result of money. Many people, like restaurant owners and artists, have lost their world, and many others have made money. Economics is a very important element of our lives, and the fact is that not everyone has experienced it. The same thing is that people have thick skin and a short memory. Understanding that we depend on each other is at best intellectual. We still do not feel each other, do not feel the pain of others.

"The most interesting thing was finding out that humanity needed such a big push to learn to do things in a small way, that you didn't have to travel abroad to meet! If there is anything we have gained from the Corona it may be the zoom, that is all the great progress we have made. "

"I felt I wrote about the period"

Shai Nhiisi, 36, from Netanya, is currently living in Jaffa's

debut album: "Between Plots"

"There must be something else that

will hold the world.

You are not here

just to manage.

Time runs out. Time

does not feel sorry for not waiting.

He runs alone."

My music: "The most important thing to me about music is honesty, I look at the eyes and not embellish things. My vision was to be a singer-songwriter who blends elements of East and West, poems, North African music and Western music I grew up with. To create a unique breed, something like Michael Kiwanuka meets Boaz Sharabi.

"I composed synths with eastern lanes with a pop or rock groove. Along with album producers, Einav Jackson Cohen and Adi Rotem, I created a combination that helped me reach the sound I was looking for.

"There is a song in the album called 'Tunis', which is the album's DNA. With ethnic tunes and instruments but melodic and Western harmonies.

It is a song I wrote about my grandmother, who came to Israel and named it Amidar Housing in Netanya with this pure innocence and belief in God, and on the other hand, they came to Israel and were in immigration and did not complain. "

A piece in the days of Corona: "It caused an internal convergence. With all the uncertainty, I stopped the process I had planned for the music release. I took a moment to see where it all took me.

"But then, at the height of the Corona, my wife just gave birth to our oldest daughter. It was delusional, the whole experience of being a new parent, and staying in the hospital was surreal, there were no visits, everyone was wearing masks. Then I talked to my team and told them I had a song I want it to come out now, even though I wrote it three months ago, I felt it was written into and about this period and we just got it out really quickly. "

A new world or whatever it may be: "I hope not but I think so. I look outside and see that the world is very much back, everyone is returning to restlessness and stress. Maybe it's in our DNA, maybe it's the area we live in." If, God forbid, something else happens here that disrupts everyone's plans, then in my opinion and sadly, it will simply return to being the same world.

"There will be a launch in late June and the album will be released in August or September. Depending on where the world is heading."

"Creation is like a news flash from the psyche of the world"

Daniela Turgeman, 32, originally from Ein Hod, currently lives in Jaffa's

debut album: "Land of the Sea"

"Mh Shtksh Lnsm

Ihzr Bgof

variant

of souls immortal

Zrhti if so

Azrh

afresh" ( "cracks")

My music: "It is important to me that the music excite me and those who listen to it, that it is honest but durable. I know it really sounds kitschy but I want and love to share the magic I experience as I create, to give my perspective on the world. I worked

on the album for three years. With producers Jonathan Daskell and Nimrod Bar. I read it so because it felt right to me in such a strange, fluid world where man goes through a spiritual struggle. Music came out as I see the world, in such a wave, emotional and present, a fluid and solid world. "

A work in Corona: "I had a lot of time to think and write, because to create something needed dedication, and because there was a lot of time, and I didn't know what would happen tomorrow, it did me a good job. It's very correspondent with music making. So throughout this time, I danced into the unknown, it was hard for me to hear that the world was screaming when it hurt, but there was something about this slow rhythm forced on us that really suited me for writing.

"Art reminds us that we are human beings, it gives us some comfort, creates a sad song as well. Creation is like a news flash from the psyche of the world, it is important that we know what is going on, that we will maintain sanity.

"The art is like nature to me, it's basic, it's a direct contact with existence. And the world is a work of art, it doesn't matter if we create

or not, you come out and have music, and the question is whether you listen or not. And this sound I am looking for, To see if we are doing it right and well, to feel that we are connected to the pulsing vein of the entire world, not from a grandiose place that I am "the whole world", but from a humble place that we are in the world. On September 5, a Tel Aviv launch will take place. "

A new world or whatever it may be: "I think we can go out of this situation differently, but it's personal. I'd really like to go to a world that has more listening to each other, more empathy and more air, in other words.

" Utilizing the environment, and there is a situation where we have received an important warning to wake up. There is something comforting about staying human right now, staying close to the ground, my friends, family, narrowing down a good section.
