- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 29, 2020

For comparison: When 32-year-old Heather Heyer was killed by a participant in the neo-Nazi demonstration during a parade of right-wing extremists in Charlottesville in August 2017 , Trump used completely different words. At the time, he spoke of the fact that there were always many sides responsible for excesses of violence and that “a lot of decent people” took part in the right-wing demo. Neither did he threaten to have the Nazis shot. At that time, Trump received a lot of praise for his testimony from former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke.
