Putting out a fire in the village of Koudana, in the countryside of Quneitra

The Quneitra Fire Brigade, in cooperation with the Forestry Department of the Governorate Agricultural Directorate and the people, managed to put out a fire that broke out in the village of Kudana in the countryside's western countryside.

The commander of the Quneitra Fire Brigade, Colonel Firas Samara, told a SANA reporter that the fire was caused by the fall of one of the high tension electrical lines in the area, which led to the outbreak of a fire in the agricultural lands where pastoral grasses are spread.

The head of the forestry department, Eng. Ahmed Deeb, said in a similar statement that the wind speed in the area helped the spread of the fire to cover large areas of agricultural lands where pastoral weeds are spread and on which breeders depend on raising cattle and is estimated at 200 dunums.
