The regional court of the capital found the 27-year-old guilty of attempted bodily harm on Friday, resulting in death. The presiding judge stated that the chamber had not come to the conclusion that the man who had been heavily drunk at the time of the act acted with the intent to kill. "We are sure that he  did not see the  subway ."

The prosecutor, who had pleaded for life imprisonment for murder , has already announced a revision . The defender had requested a guilty verdict for negligent killing.

It is clear that the accused is responsible for the completely unnecessary death of the 30-year-old, the judge continued. He "wanted to do something to the victim" and finally sneaked a shock at him. "There has been increased evidence that a drug business could have been the cause," said a spokesman for the prosecutor's office on Friday. The police also confirmed that the 30-year-old lived in Berlin and was known to the authority for drug-related offenses.
