It is a spectacular reversal of public opinion. Tired of more than two months of restrictions, long skeptical of crisis management and severe on government choices over masks, the French are now applauding the deconfinement plan presented by the executive.
This is what emerges from our Odoxa-Dentsu Consulting survey for Le Figaro and France Info, unveiled this Friday. Edouard Philippe's performance was unanimously welcomed: 7 out of 10 French people believe that the head of government was clear (72%) during his press conference. Two-thirds say he was up to the task (66%) and has shown he knows where he's going (64%). 6 out of 10 French people found it convincing (62%) and think they told the truth to French people (60%) - a feat when we remember the crisis of confidence at the start of the epidemic.

Almost general satisfaction
This satisfaction is shared by sympathizers of all political stripes, with the exception of those of the National Rally. Thus, the supporters of La France Insoumise are not less than 66% to have found convincing the tenant of Matignon, confirming the good current dynamics of the pretender for the mayor of Le Havre.
55% of French people find that the deconfinement plan is well suited. This is 15 points more than a month ago. Only 34% of respondents (-11 points) still describe the plan as " too fast " and 11% find that it is not fast enough (-4 points). Seniors are the most satisfied (63%) - they have long feared that their freedom of movement would be permanently hampered. Conversely, young people are the least excited: 46% believe that deconfinement is too fast.

In detail, all the measures announced are widely approved, both the new authorizations and the maintenance of certain restrictions: the reopening of parks and gardens (88%) of beaches, lakes and bodies of water (85%) is a hit. . Like bars and restaurants (78%). The right to travel more than 100 km from home is welcomed by 85% of French people.
Questions about the school
The maintenance of the ban on nightclubs and stadiums (83%), team and contact sports (78% approval) or the grouping of more than 10 people (71%) is approved, proof that the French validate the overall balance of the plan. Only subjects related to school, in particular the acceleration of the reopening of educational establishments are less massively approved (56%). The elimination of the oral French test is understood by 60% of French people.
Finally, respondents are divided on the advisability of acquiring the StopCovid tracking application.
