Hamburg - Emotions are often boiling up in the Corona * crisis. Charité virologist Christian Drosten * in particular is often caught in the crossfire. 

But SPD politician Karl Lauterbach, who positioned himself clearly in relation to corona demos, also got his fat off. Both recently reported open threats of murder against them. 

What may have caused dismay for most, however, triggered a completely different reaction in Til Schweiger . The actor himself now describes this as a mistake.

Death threats against Drosten and Lauterbach: Til Schweiger deals heartily

The story goes like this: Drosten and Lauterbach initially made the death threats against them public on social media. Til Schweiger reacted very clearly in an Instagram * comment on Wednesday and wrote:  "Mr. Drosten and Mr. Lauterbach, take a chill-pill!"

Then Schweiger reported on several death threats against himself in the past and said in the direction of the virologist and the politician:  "So don't cry now - I didn't do it either!"

Shortly afterwards, the actor deleted his posting. However, screenshots of it continued to spread on social networks. 

Til Schweiger backs up: “Regret mistakes with all my heart”

Then Til Schweiger rowed back and apologized openly in another Instagram posting: "My post was not only thoughtless, but completely inappropriate and above all superfluous," he wrote to his followers on the social network * on Wednesday.

“I always told my kids that making mistakes is human, but you have to recognize your mistakes and be able to sincerely apologize for them. Unfortunately, my mistake is not so easy to excuse , but in this way I would like to thank Prof. Lauterbach and Prof. Dr. Tell Drosten that I wholeheartedly regret my mistake. ”

On Tuesday, SPD politician Lauterbach had shown on Twitter the photo of a small bottle with a liquid that he had received by post, contaminated with the virus, according to the sender. "Drink this - then you will be immune," said an enclosed note. A little later, Christian Drosten commented on the tweet and wrote that he had received the same package.
