Preparing to apply sovereignty in a statement issued by the Jerusalem Embassy states that citizens and civil servants who are in Israel or planning to visit it in the near future should take precautions • Fear: Applying sovereignty in July will aggravate the area • "Violence can break at any moment"

Hints from Washington? The United States Embassy in Israel issued a message Thursday to its citizens that they should take precautions in the Judea and Samaria and Gaza areas for fear of a violent wave of outbursts following the Israeli desire to apply sovereignty on July 9.

The statement reads: "The US Embassy advises US citizens living or considering traveling to Judea and Samaria and Gaza to maintain high vigilance and take considerable precautions." It also states that "violence can break out at any moment, and you need to consider the risks and maintain your personal safety during your visit to sites and events that are potential destinations."

The announcement bans government employees who are already staying in Israel to personally travel to communities in Judea and Samaria, with the exception of sections on Route 1, Route 443 and Route 90 which are the Green Line areas. At the same time, official and personal trips to the Gaza Strip were banned.

Remembering this week, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he did not intend to change the date of knowledge set to apply sovereignty. In a statement to the media at the Likud faction meeting, Netanyahu said that "we have a deadline for July and we do not intend to change it. We will work wisely and combine forces."

The US fear of a wave of violence erupts after the declaration by Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas that "the PLO and the PA have withdrawn from all agreements with Israel and the United States." He added that "Israel must bear all the responsibility and commitment as of today vis-à-vis the international community as an occupying force in the territory of the occupied Palestinian state, and in all that it relies on international and humanitarian law, in particular the Geneva Convention."

Abbas has placed all responsibility on the US government for "the injustice our people have undergone, and sees it as a key partner of the government of the Occupation in all decisions and aggression against our people."
