• Tuesday: 21 to 29 degrees, summery and dry 
• Wednesday: 22 to 30 degrees, summerly and in the afternoon showers and thunderstorms in the west 
• Thursday: 19 to 29 degrees, friendly, later thunderstorms again

Weather in Germany: Outlook until Pentecost weekend

On Thursday evening, according to the forecast by the German Weather Service (DWD), it will change in the south and southeast. Clouds and sometimes even rain can play a role. However, the thunderstorm and shower activity should decrease. 

However, there are not much better prospects for Friday. In the east and southeast it should continue to change, occasional rain showers should also prevail on the Ore Mountains and the Alps . The maximum values ​​in Germany are said to be between 18 and 24 degrees.

According to the qualified meteorologist Dominik Jung from the Q.met weather service, a low over Eastern Europe will decide how the weather will be at Pentecost in Germany . 

So he told the “Bild newspaper”: “We have a lot of sun on Pentecost . It will be beautiful in the west and north and south. But there could also be a spoiler who may be involved, especially in the east. [...] The low shifts clouds around them and they just extend to the east of Germany . Therefore there can be bad weather there at Pentecost. The question is: how far does it get to us? ”Because maybe, according to the weather expert, it could also spare the east completely. 

Also meteorologist Juergen Schmidt of " weather office " concurred. A low above Poland / Czech Republic directs cloud fields to the east - but especially to Saxony - and to Bavaria . Local showers and thunderstorms could play a role. However, it is not at all certain how far the low will go to Germany, Dominik Jung added.

Weather in Germany: Pleasant temperatures for most of Germany
