Recently on the children's playground. "You are also systemically important," says one young mother to another whose child is raging through the sandpit. It was probably a question of who was allowed to bring the son or daughter to the day care center and when. I didn't listen any further, because I had enough to think with just one sentence. You are systemically important. Who can say that about themselves?

It is clear that in a crisis such as the Corona period, it is defined who is crucial with his work for the preservation of life in society and therefore needs special support. What needs to be ensured, whose use is essential? Because it is immediately obvious: If the apartment is on fire, you will not mow the lawn or plant flowers before you put it out.

Moth term again soon - otherwise a new value system threatens

Are you system relevant? If you can answer that with a yes like the mother in the playground because she works as a nurse, teacher or police officer, that's a good thing. Anyone who knows exactly at the moment and, above all, can feel that they are acutely not considered to be so crucial in the system, i.e. in our society, may feel disregarded. And at some point gets out of together.

It will be necessary to soon mothball this term, which was an auxiliary construction for necessary decisions. Otherwise it could be that a new value system finds its way. One that judges people by what they can do when you really need them. The "too big to fail" would then be a purely useful consideration. Who can you need?

Musicians and painters are also vital.

Because, for example, musicians, painters, designers and gallery owners are vital to life, which delight the heart, give wings to the soul and let thoughts break open to new horizons. It is restaurateurs who feed the senses and those who provide entertainment. I miss the theater, the clown in the circus and all those who show me new things. Of course I can wait - but maybe not.

System relevant. Do you have to do something so that you have meaning for others? A blessing for the coexistence are also those who, due to their limitations, teach us that life cannot be had without injuries and scars, not without renunciation. Valuable joy in existence, confidence and hope are systemically important. And last but not least, the desire to work on a democracy that is proud of all its people.
