The Chess Federation called for the Al-Thahla club in Sweden, Diana Theeb, to represent the national team in external meetings over the Internet during the coming period.
In a statement to the Sports Representative of Sana, the head of the Technical Chess Committee in Sweida, Eng. Rifaat Khadr, pointed out that Diana's invitation was made after her success in the differentiation games conducted by the game via the Internet, noting the good technical level of the player and the possibility of developing its level for the better.
Theeb won last year the first place in the Republic Chess Championship for the under-20 category hosted by Damascus.
