At 2 o'clock in the morning on Saturday (30th), a heavy-duty trailer dragged a 43-ton concrete pump truck along Qinglong Highway in the direction of Yuen Long. When approaching off Gaopu Village, the trailer was reportedly shoveling into the lawn after evading the tangent vehicle and running out of control and crashing the collision barrier in the road. After the accident, the two drivers, surnamed Zhang (46 years old) and Lin (39 years old), suffered minor injuries and were sent to Boai Hospital for treatment. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
