The Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned racial discrimination against African Americans in the United States.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran has expressed regret for the killing of blacks in America and condemns the deadly racial discrimination in it and requests American officials to carry out justice in such killings," the Iranian news agency IRNA quoted the ministry as saying in a statement posted on the social networking site Twitter today.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry stressed that "the voice of the protesters should be heard in America ... Therefore, the suppression of the oppressed Americans and the restrictions of the media must be stopped quickly."
And for the third consecutive day, protests against the death of an African American who continues to breathe continue after a police officer installed him on the ground and pressed his neck five minutes while the police station in Minneapolis only dismissed the four officers involved in the crime from their work.
