In the volleyball divisions of BCF Wolfratshausen and TuS Geretsried, the BVV requirements were checked for their feasibility and then presented to the respective main club. "The concepts were then worked out and presented in the town hall," reports Lukas von Stülpnagel. Last week, the administrations then approved the use of the clay courts in the Isar Loisach and Isarau stadiums. On Friday, the VSG activists set about preparing the fields. "We removed leaves and debris and also set up the nets and lines," reports the press spokesman.
There are a number of rules to be followed for training operations themselves. The approach has to be done separately, the stadiums themselves should be entered in groups including the responsible trainer. Disinfectant is available at the entrance. "If several groups train, which is possible in Wolfratshausen, for example, because of the two beach fields, they have to take separate breaks," explains von Stülpnagel. After the end, the volleyball players should also start their way home separately. In addition, the trainers are obliged to enter each meeting and the names of the participants on a club portal on the Internet.
There are also regulations for running in the sand. “There can be four players plus one coach on each pitch. Attacks via the network are allowed, but no block actions. In addition, only one active person may take the attack ball at a time, the partner must keep a distance of 1.5 meters, ”reports the VSG spokesman. You have to be clear about "that this is not a real beach volleyball, but - as the association emphasizes - a condition and tactics game".
Over the weekend, a Skype conference instructed all instructors of the volleyball community from Wolfratshausen and Geretsried and divided the training times. "It is currently not possible that you can spontaneously go to beach volleyball when the weather is nice," explains von Stülpnagel.
