Improve the environment and encourage the local economy by involving the whole community: local institutions, individual citizens, businesses in the municipal area, together in a path of correct waste delivery, which leads to the return of the 100% equivalent of the Tari tribute. This is the core business of Remunero , a start-up born six years ago between Sardinia and Milan.

The concept of economic and environmental "reward", the backbone of Remunero's Smart & Green Reward project , involves Tari users in the area (families or businesses), encouraging them to correctly deliver municipal solid waste as established by European Union regulations , with a view to reducing the quantity of waste produced and CO2 emissions. The reward translates into the refund of 100% of the equivalent of what the users paid as a TARI tribute , without the financial intervention of the Municipality '.
To realize this project, an electronic payment platform, such as VISA or MASTERCARD, has been developed, which allows, through algorithms, to monetize the tax reliefs enjoyed by this particular system, based on the virtuous behavior of users. Companies will benefit from the tax reduction of up to 30% of invoices or sales documents. Of course, all already approved by the Inland Revenue and compliant with the tax systems in force in all EU countries . The amounts issued will be gradually recovered through the transaction fees, typical of any electronic payment circuit and subsequently reused in the territory of origin for other projects agreed with the Local Administrations, as part of a PPP (Public-Private Partnership).
Since TARI is a territorial tax, the amounts issued will be loaded into electronic current accounts or equivalent payment cards , which will be active within the territory itself and will be deactivated externally, therefore they will not be expendable outside.
Remunero is currently being studied in Alghero in Sardinia, Cerveteri in Lazio, Mussomeli in the province of Caltanissetta in Sicily and Pistoia in Tuscany .
