A 70-year-old woman from the Shuafat refugee camp in Jerusalem perished Saturday morning in a fire that broke out in her home.
Firefighting and rescue teams from the Jerusalem stations this morning operated a fire that broke out in an apartment located in the Shuafat refugee camp in northern Jerusalem. From the apartment, a woman about 70 was rescued when she was in a human condition, and from there she was evacuated as she breathed and fell asleep during CPR efforts at Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital. Resuscitation efforts continued in the hospital as well, but doctors had to determine her death.
