The death toll from the emerging coronavirus in the United States of America today has exceeded the threshold of 105,000 cases and the level of one million and 800,000 cases, according to a new statistic published today by the World Meters World Statistics website.

The site, which is run by an international team of developers and researchers, stated that as of today, 180,658 cases of corona have been recorded in the United States, including 105,063 deaths, equivalent to 5.82 percent of the total cases detected in the world, and 523064 cases that have fully recovered from the virus, or 28.95 percent.

The United States is the first country in the world in terms of the death toll and infections of the emerging coronavirus.

In France, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 57 new deaths from the virus during the last day, to keep the daily death rate below 100 cases for the tenth day in a row, noting that 14,380 new cases were recorded in Corona, compared to 14,695 the previous day.

In turn, Turkey recorded an increase in the number of people infected with Coronavirus in the country during the past 24 hours by 983 to 163,103 cases, indicating that the death toll from the virus reached 4,515 people, after recording 26 new deaths during the last day.

Arably, the Algerian Ministry of Health announced that 133 new infections and 8 deaths from the newly created Corona virus were recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 9267 and 646 deaths in the country since the outbreak began.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health recorded 19 new cases of the virus during the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of cases to 1191, while the total number of deaths stabilized at 26 deaths.
