Following a call from 210 associations, several hundred demonstrators gathered in Paris on Saturday for the regularization of undocumented migrants, despite the ban by the police headquarters and health restrictions that limit gatherings to less than 10 people.
The procession started from the Madeleine and ended at Place de la République. In sometimes tense face-to-face meetings, the police had to use tear gas to disperse the crowd.
Other solidarity marches took place in Lyon, Lille, Marseille, Toulouse and Grenoble.
