Dozens of Palestinians suffered from suffocation today, as a result of the suppression of the weekly Kafr anti-settlement demonstration by the Israeli occupation forces, which demanded the opening of the village street, closed 17 years ago, east of Qalqilya in the West Bank.
The coordinator of the popular resistance in the village of Kafr Qaddum, Murad Shtaiwi, told Wafa that the occupation forces stormed the village and fired bullets and poison gas canisters at the participants in the demonstration, causing dozens of them to suffocate.
The village of Kafr Qaddum is witnessing continuous demonstrations against the occupation on Friday and Saturday, which have become part of the public life in the village that devoured the apartheid wall and settlement lands.
