After about an hour of roadblocks, Route 20 opens from the Shefayim interchange to the south again for traffic. As part of the struggle of the disabled and elderly public to raise disability benefits and their statutes, the disability organizations renewed their protest this morning (Sunday) and blocked the Ayalon lanes to the south in the Shafay interchange. On highway 20 heavy traffic loads were felt, and after about half an hour of complete blocking, one lane of traffic opened, and after about an hour, as stated, the block was completely opened.

At a rally that morning, the protestors who arrived at the site blocked the traffic, burned tires and in fact blocked the traffic completely. A statement issued by Lavi Naor, a spokesman for disability groups, said that the protest this morning constitutes "a step up" for the disabled and that there is an expectation of increased protest in the coming days. The Israeli police are present at the checkpoints, which are directing drivers to alternative roads.
As part of the struggle for disability organizations that resumed earlier this month, the requirement has been raised and reinstated, as required by law to raise disability benefits. The statement issued by the disabled stated that "the government of Israel is causing the public with disabilities and the elderly a holocaust that has never been seen in the State of Israel"
