Jerusalem shooting incident: A man suspected of carrying a gun was shot by police near the lion's gate. He was shot and seriously injured, and later died of his wounds. Then it turned out - this is a young man with special needs who never carried a gun.

A preliminary investigation of the incident revealed that police officers in Jerusalem identified the suspicious man, a 30-year-old resident of East Jerusalem, with an object in his hand that looked like a gun, and shouted at him to stop. The man began to flee, and police reported a gunman who fled and apparently held a gun. Other police officers who were nearby heard the report and joined the chase. At the lion's gate, they spotted him, shot him, and killed him.

The Jerusalem Police are currently investigating the incident, which could be explosive, since tomorrow (Sunday) the Temple Mount is scheduled to reopen to Muslim worshipers. The slain family claims: "It's a murder."

A 23-year-old drowned to death in the hexagonal pool

A 23-year-old young man from East Jerusalem died on Saturday in the hexagonal pool in the Golan Heights.

Four young people from East Jerusalem came to spend the day in the Nahal Zahtan. At one point one of the young men jumped into the stream and disappeared. His friends, who noticed that he was out of the water, called the Israel Police 100 hotline and reported the case. Police forces along with volunteers from the Israel Police's Golan Rescue Unit were called to the scene and began searching for the young man.

After scans conducted by Israeli police volunteers from the Northern Submarine Unit, the mother located the young man and dragged him out of the water with no signs of life. A medical team that arrived at the scene performed CPR operations and finally had to determine his death.
