Mysterious mission for the Wasserwacht Walchensee: There was no trace of an allegedly crashed paraglider on Wednesday evening.
Walchensee - Two fishermen had alarmed the water watch around 7.50 p.m. They had watched a paraglider go down between Walchensee and Urfeld near the sailing club. "But they didn't know whether it landed in the water or on the shore," says Alois Grünwald of the Walchensee water watch.
Rescue helicopters are also used
The rescue workers searched the bank and the water by boat, car and rescue helicopter. "But we didn't find anything," says Grünwald. Dan received a second call to the witness. The man had watched the paraglider land on the bank and apparently leave unharmed.
The search was then canceled. The water guards Tölz, Kochel and Krün / Wallgau, the mountain guard Kochel, an ambulance from Kochel and the police Mittenwald were also in action. sis
