Ulrike Scharf (CSU), a member of the Erdinger Landtag, belongs to a new body that is supposed to mitigate the economic consequences of the Corona crisis.

Erding - In this context, the Landtag passed a law on the creation of a new fund of 20 billion euros at the end of April, the so-called BayernFonds. A committee consisting of twelve members of the Landtag was set up to monitor this fund. The body that has now started work also includes the former Minister of the Environment from Maria Thalheim.

“The corona crisis poses enormous problems for our economy, especially for many small and medium-sized companies. With the support of BayernFonds, ailing companies are to be saved from bankruptcy, ”explains Scharf.

With the help of the new instrument, the Free State can temporarily participate in companies. For small and medium-sized companies in particular, which are not covered by the federal economic stabilization fund, the BayernFonds offers an opportunity to secure capital, says Scharf: "The Free State also ensures the supply of needy companies with fast loans."
