Al-Hasakah-Sana
The Agricultural Cooperative Bank branch in Al-Hasakah Governorate has spent 700 million Syrian pounds of the values of wheat marketed from last season’s production to the Syrian Grain Branch.
The director of the bank’s branch, Khadr Al-Hesso, confirmed in a statement to a Sana correspondent that continuing the exchange of the value of the wheat bills marketed in all of the bank’s 17 branches, given the availability of financial credits, pointing out that the Syrian Grain Branch’s branch has about new bills worth 750 million Syrian pounds and is ready for exchange.
For his part, the director of the Syrian Grain Branch, Eng. Ubaidah Ali, said that the wheat marketing operations for the 2019 season continue in the approved centers, as the marketed quantities to date reached 11,411 tons, pointing to transferring all the bills related to marketing to the Agricultural Bank branches to expedite the payment of their values to the farmers.
The Syrian Grain Branch has transferred about two billion Syrian pounds to the bank’s branches with the start of marketing operations to provide financial credits to exchange wheat values.
