Later in the interview, the senator added that "Trump is glorifying violence in his tweets. We condemn other countries when their leaders are expressed in this way, and this must be done in this case, even though it is our president."

Regarding the violent protests in Minneapolis in recent days, Omar said: "What we are trying to do is prevent our city from burning." She later criticized the violent protesters, saying they were "not interested in protecting the lives of blacks."

In the early morning (local time), a human body was found near a burning vehicle in Minneapolis that has not yet been identified, local police said. Spokesman John Elder said there were severe signs of violence on the body and the case was being investigated during these hours. It is not yet known whether the case is related to the protests that have been going on for the fifth consecutive day. The body was located after a report that reached the town center and was discovered by the fire crews.

At the same time, more than 340 people were arrested over the last night in New York City. At least 33 police officers and security personnel were injured during the riots in the city, in addition to 48 police patrol cars slaughtered by protesters. At the same time, in the documentation distributed on social networks from the demonstrations in the city, where a police patrol car collided with the demonstrators, the protesters appeared to throw objects at a patrol car and later joined another patrol car that crowded the crowd.

Afterwards screams were heard, but no casualties were known. Local police have launched an investigation into the incident. New York Mayor Bill De Blasio said the incident was under investigation, but stressed that police officers may not have had a choice to act otherwise.

Support demonstrations across Europe

In the meantime, masses gathered in major European cities to identify with the protest in the United States. Thousands arrived at Trafalgar Square in central London, calling for racism and police brutality, designed to limit the spread of the Corona virus in the country. A number of people were simultaneously demonstrating outside the US embassy in the city.

In Berlin, there were silent protests of several hundred protesters holding signs that read "Justice Can't Wait" and "Black Lives Matter." In Copenhagen, the protesters called "no justice, no peace" at the entrance to the US embassy in the Danish capital.
