On April 14, 1934, Max Hermann was born on the "Schnaiter-Hof" in Dietenhausen . There he also grew up in the Glonntal and attended school in Odelzhausen. In 1953 he took over the farm after the early death of his father .

On November 28, 1959, he led his Walburga, née Märkl, who was born on July 28, 1934 and who, as the seventh girl at the Woishofer-Hof in Priel, had a sheltered childhood, to the altar. Pastor Gottfried Brugger received the blessing from the church in the parish church of St. Benedict . The secular celebration then took place at the Sonnenwirt. The couple had two sons , Florian and Max.

Spouses die shortly after the diamond wedding: moving life

House construction, the farm, cows, cats, chickens, the garden, their two Buam and later also the four grandchildren were Valais life . She was a happy person and also liked to sing a song next to work . Max was always by her side to support her until the very last day. Max was a good husband, a good father and a farmer . He was also an enthusiastic brass musician. In 1951 he was there when the Odelzhausen brass band in Dietenhausen was founded by Anton Kiemer, who later became the mayor of Odelzhausen. He was one of the pioneers of the brass band , who made the name Odelzhausen known nationwide under the former conductor Sepp Haas and enriched the cultural life.

Max and his Walburga: moving end of a great love 

Max, who grew up during the war, was a lifelong fighter for honesty and justice. He had several honorary posts, always with a view of the whole. The years passed, followed by a silver wedding, golden wedding and finally the diamond wedding of Max and Walli in November 2019 . They already lived in the retirement home in Egenhofen.

Just half a year later, their life together was drawing to a close . Max followed her a few days after his Walli died . With the two, the family loses two very special people.

Due to the current situation, the funerals of Walli and Max Hermann took place in the closest family
