The offer to recharge electricity is to be expanded in the Würmtal. New electric charging stations are planned in Gräfelfing and Neuried. Existing stations, for example in the Kraillingen industrial estate KIM, are well received.
Würmtal - Five to six new electric charging stations are planned in the municipality of Gräfelfing. "One or two will probably be in our industrial area, probably at the town hall, on Anger and in Rottenbucher Strasse," explains Lydia Brooks, head of the environmental agency. The existing charging station in Bahnhofstrasse is to be replaced. "But I would like to get advice from a specialist so that money is not spent on something that doesn't make sense," says Lydia Brooks. The construction of the columns, i.e. the hardware, is advertised by the municipality. However, it is not yet certain whether the pillars will be equipped with the Wirelane billing software as part of the district-wide concept, says Lydia Brooks.
Three charging stations are planned in the municipality of Neuried. "Unfortunately, it is not yet clear when exactly these will come, but certainly not this year," says City Hall spokeswoman Meike Petro. “Even where the charging stations will be is not yet clear. But of course it should be central, heavily used locations, ”says Petro. The existing charging station in the Aldi car park on the Hainbuchenring, which was built there by the Aldi company, was used briskly by the Neihiedern.
So far, there is no charging station built by the municipality in Planegg. "There are considerations to possibly build one in the parking lot of the Feodor-Lynen-Gymnasium, but that is far from being set in stone", says building manager Richard Richter. There were controversial discussions in the Planegger municipal council as to whether the erection of the pillars is the responsibility of a municipality or not a company. There are six e-charging stations on the grounds of the "Unikum" student dormitory in Martinsried, which were built by the property owner "Grammer Immobilien Gruppe" but can be used by all citizens for a fee. In the Steinkirchen industrial area there is also a charging station with two connection options on Robert-Koch-Straße 1a.
Only in the Krailling community has so far not been considered "to build a charging station in the center of the town," says city hall spokesman Alexander Broschell. In the corresponding surveys, it was always said that no charging station was desired. The existing electric charging stations in the area of the KIM, which were built by the local companies, are used quite heavily.
The district of Munich would like to create a uniform charging structure and has therefore had an electromobility concept drawn up (we reported). Based on this report, the software operation of the charging infrastructure was put out to tender, for which the district of Munich works together with the Wirelane company. The idea behind it was that it would be more citizen-friendly if all pillars in the entire district and also in the city of Munich could be paid with the same payment system. For example, the system does not accept EC or Visa cards, which is a major disadvantage.
