The patrols of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Daraa during its rounds on the markets last month organized 189 catering officers against the violating commercial activities.
The head of the Consumer Protection Department in the Directorate, Engineer Bassam Al-Hafiz, stated in a statement to a Sana correspondent that the violations were distributed not to announce prices, to show and trade irregular bills, to refrain from selling and selling at an excessive price, and not to declare a fee for services and violations related to specifications and data, and to sell fuel and meat at an excessive price and weight loss Bread bundle and bad bread production, among others.
Al-Hafiz added that the Directorate’s patrols pulled 15 markets out of the markets last month, 15 of which matched 10 of them and 5 violated Syrian standards. 7 complaints were submitted by citizens, 15 events were closed, and 28 people were referred to the judiciary in accordance with the laws and regulations in force.
Last April, the Directorate organized 279 catering officers against violating commercial activities, handled 26 complaints and closed 32 activities according to the laws and regulations in force.
