Ingolstadt - A 16-year-old from Kösching in the Eichstädt district was  attacked by unknown persons on Pentecost Sunday (May 31) - presumably because he was wearing a sweater with the SSV Jahn Regensburg coat of arms . As reported by the federal police , the 16-year-old wanted to take the regional train 59162 from Munich to Ingolstadt with his 14-year-old brother and a 15-year-old girlfriend from Ingolstadt

At 6.20 p.m. the passengers boarded the penultimate compartment of the train , which was to depart from platform 20 at Munich Central Station  with the terminus at Nuremberg . According to police, the 16-year-old surprisingly kicked a stranger on the hip while stowing the luggage . The youth then went down.

The stranger then asked him why he was wearing a SSV Jahn Regensburg sweater and whether he belonged to the hooligan scene there . Another uninvolved companion of the perpetrator threatened the 16-year-old with a gesture - according to the police, he ran his thumb over his throat. 

When several travelers interfered and asked the two suspects to leave the attacked youth alone, both strangers left the compartment. After the attack, the three young people left the train at Munich Central Station and alerted Deutsche Bahn security forces to the incident. The 16-year-old felt pain in the hip area for a short time, but it subsided again. No obvious  injuries were found. As a result, no medical care was required.

Ingolstadt: After attack on 16-year-olds - Federal police search train from Munich

For the  search  for the perpetrators, the regional express at Petershausen station was held back on police orders. However, state police officers were unable to discover the two suspects, the federal police report said . However, a 48-year-old from the Dachau district registered as a witness. After completing the police operation, the RE 59162 was able  to continue towards Ingolstadt and finally to Nuremberg with a delay of around 40 minutes

The federal police are now evaluating the video recording of the RE and camera recordings from the platform at the main station. Due to the large number of travelers on the train heading for Ingolstadt, the stop in Petershausen was very effective

The federal police assume that the incident was related to football . A red sweater with a hood worn by the victim is considered to trigger the aggression . A large coat of arms of  SSV Jahn Regensburg was depicted on it. This garment had previously caused problems with fans of the TSV 1860 in Munich on the Isar

The alleged  perpetrator who attacked the 16-year-old is described as between 175 and 180 cm tall, somewhat stocky with a slightly tanned skin tone. He had short black short hair and dark three-day beard. He was dressed in a black T-shirt and jeans. His companion is said to have been thin and somewhat smaller. He had short dark blonde hair and had no beard, wore a black and dark gray cloth as a mask, and also a T-shirt. The Federal Police investigation for assault and threat and asks witnesses to the incident or persons who, because of the description of the suspects know, to / by calling 089 515550-111 in Bundespolizeiinspektion Munich to report.
